Hi Guys!

 July is here and we start summercamp on monday 5th july. we only have limited places so book now to avoid dissappoinment. see summercamp page for dates.

 

change of date for murder mystery. Due to lots being on the weekend of the 18th july we have decided to postpone the murder mystery until the 25th(sunday) july. Sorry if this has caused any inconvenience.

 

 SUNDAY JULY 25TH – MID SUMMER MURDER MYSTERY – starts at 6pm

Come along and play Sherlock for the evening and solve our new mid summer murder. Meet the suspects and follow the clues.

suitable for all the family, we have lots on that night including -

Traditional music,dancing and singing

adventure hunts

animal handling

bottle feeding

arts and crafts.

it will be a night to remember, and we look forward to seeing you there!

June bank holiday weekend -

Open daily from 10am till 6pm.

Sunday 6th June – Threshing display from 2pm  come along and make a day of it and see our new purpose built animal shed and lots more for a great day out.

Baby Llama competion – name the baby!

We were delighted with the response we got from our latest competition and we are pleased to announce that our new baby is called Bubblegum – picked by Steven Cleevy and Mary – Ellen O’ Connor from Campile in New Ross.

We are pleased to anounce that we have finally moved into our new purpose built animal shed. So you now have even more to come and see! We have a new baby llama – he needs a name and we are asking you the public to name him – the winner wil receive a yearly pass to the farm for them and their family.

we have lots of baby goats to be bottle fed we even had quads this  year!

spring has finally come and there is new life all over the farm.

We will have a full timetable of events on daily including a few new activities.and the old favourites of animal handling, bottle feeding kid goats and playtime with the goats.

Follow our  adventure hunts, solve the anagrams and collect your surprise!

Arts and crafts ongoing all day in the old animal shed. And if you have time go and play in our adventure play area.

 

Now that we have our new animal shed open we have started work on the indoor play area  – we hope to have this open before the Winter check back on this page for new updates on progress.

Our new Timetable of events from March 27th – August 31st

10.00am – Feeding of the animals.

10.30am – Meet Roxy the Lemur.

11.00am – Bottle feeding kid goats.

11.30am – Small animal handling/mini beast handling

12.00am – Playtime with the kid goats.

12.20am – 1.30pm – Pony riding

1.00pm – Meet and groom Jack the fallabella

1.30pm – Small animal handling/mini beast handling.

2.00pm – Bottle feeding the kid goats.

2.30pm – Meet Roxy the Lemur.

3.00pm – 4.00pm – Pony rides.

3.30pm – Meet and groom Jack the fallabella.

4.00pm – small animal handling.

4.30pm – bottle feeding kid goats.

From 1st of May we will be open everyday until the end of August 10am – 6pm.

September - Weekends only 10am – 5pm.

October  -  Haloween break everyday 10am – 5pm. Rest of the month weekends only 12- 5pm.

November – Weekends only 10am – 5pm.

December –  Dates to be confirmed.

January 2011 – Weekends only 10am – 5pm.

Febraury 2011 – Weekends only 10am – 5pm.
