Step into the Wild at Secret Valley Wildlife Park
Secret Valley Wildlife Park is the only fully licensed zoo and wildlife park in the South East of Ireland. Founded in 2007 by Ann O’Connor, what began as a small family farm has grown into an award-winning park that’s home to over 200 animals across more than 40 species.
Set within 14 acres of beautiful countryside in the heart of Ireland’s Ancient East, we combine hands-on animal encounters with a strong focus on education, conservation, and family fun.
Our History
From its humble beginnings, Secret Valley was built on a love of animals and a commitment to their welfare. Over the years, Ann and her dedicated team have transformed the park into a haven for rescued and rehomed animals.
As proud members of BIAZA, we provide a safe home for animals from challenging backgrounds, including ex-laboratory animals, former pets, and others in need of sanctuary. Every visit supports their care and helps us continue to raise awareness about wildlife conservation and the realities of the pet trade.
Today, Secret Valley is a vibrant, welcoming park where visitors can connect with animals, learn their stories, and enjoy an unforgettable day out.
